Our honeycomb is hand cut by us and ready to be enjoyed the minute you receive it! Our comb is great for gifts, party charcuterie boards at gatherings and for those of you who want to go all in with a spoonful! If you are curious to try it you are sure in for a treat. ----YES you can eat the wax and all :) ..or not its your choice but it's perfectly edible.
Our honey is raw and varies in shades dependent on the source our little honeybees visited, as well as when they decided to cap their honey and the harvest date. Lighter/medium honey tends to be more fruity and delicate textured and our darker honey is a deeper, more complex honey flavor and a little chewier, it is also slightly more viscous and sweeter. One thing to note is the darker comb many times has pockets of bee pollen and "bee debris." Some people love this and seek it out while others prefer to go the more comfortable and introductory route of light/medium comb.
With that being said the comb weight varies from 12oz - 16oz. Unlike most out there, we don't drain the comb on a rack before packaging, instead we make sure to capture all the goodness so you will have some extra honey pooled in with your comb.
**Please remember it is advised that babies under 1y/o do not consume raw honey**
